Monitoring Well

Monitoring wells are installed in association with groundwater testing, groundwater remediation projects, or to observe groundwater yields. This type of well is comprised of a narrow shaft from which groundwater levels can be monitored and samples can be taken for analysis. These systems are particularly useful if repeated testing is needed following abatement, or if a new aquifer withdrawal system has been constructed to ensure safe yield levels are being maintained.

If your environmental project requires a monitoring well, Michigan Consulting & Environmental has the expertise needed to provide the highest-quality equipment, installation, and maintenance for your well. In order to provide the most accurate and productive monitoring well, our systems use low-flow sampling, which prevents the corruption of samples through agitation associated with other types of groundwater sampling.
