Hydrogeological Investigations

Michigan Consulting & Environmental's team of environmental specialists has over 100 years of combined experience conducting hydrogeological investigations related to risk based corrective action for soil and groundwater pollution. We also have the necessary expertise to conduct investigations for the purpose of determining safe yields, aquifer characterization, and drawdown analysis for public water supplies.

No two hydrogeological investigations are alike. Our knowledgeable team coordinates and executes subsurface investigations to determine characteristics and extents of regulated substance releases to soil and groundwater. Investigations are conducted utilizing a range of methods and equipment depending on the conditions of the site including hollow stem augers, split spoon sampling, rotary mud drilling, sonic drilling, Geoprobe Systems ®, and direct push technology including dual tube sampling equipment. As with any of our environmental site assessment services, Michigan Consulting & Environmental puts safety first - the safety of our staff, our clients, and the environment - while working closely with our clients to determine the best and most cost-effective solution for the project at hand.
